Maybe you have one of those cigar boxes in the attic too. Coins from your grandfather, or a collection from your father that you inherited after his passing. Or perhaps you collected coins yourself for years, and now it is time to part with them.
In the past, that meant taking a morning off for a valuation day, placing an ad in the classifieds, or taking a chance at the local market and hoping the right buyer would show up. These days, it can be done differently. A few photos taken with your phone, a short email, and we are in touch. For larger collections, I am happy to visit you at home. We can have a coffee and take a calm look at what you have together. No anonymous form, no commission, no long waiting times.
I have been involved with old coins since 1995, and over all those years one thing has become clear to me: it is rarely just about the coin itself. There is almost always a memory attached to it. I am happy to make time for that.
How does it work?
I like to keep it simple. In four steps, you will know where you stand.
1. Send me pictures
A few photos by email or WhatsApp are enough to get started. No complicated forms, no obligations.
2. You receive a fair indication
Within a few days, I will let you know what I think the collection is worth and what I can offer for it. I will also explain why.
3. For large collections, I’ll come to you
Do you have an extensive collection or a complete inheritance? Then I will gladly schedule a visit to your home. We will go through everything together without any pressure.
4. We agree, or we do not, and either is fine
If we come to a price we both feel good about, I will arrange the payment directly. If we cannot agree, I will give you advice on what you can do next. No costs, no obligations.
