A PASSION FOR HISTORY
Heroic stories of knights and saving the innocent made a deep impression on me during my childhood. The excitement began when I first saw a coin lying on the ground during a bike ride with my father. I was about seven years old at the time, not knowing that this would be the first step toward something special.
Not long after that, I was allowed to borrow a metal detector. It was so sensitive that it reacted to practically everything. Before long, I was coming home with bags full of nails and other rubbish. But when I finally found a coin, I would run home as fast as I could to show my parents. Those are childhood memories I have always cherished.
ARCHAEOLOGY
During my higher professional education as a field technician, I experienced the practical side of archaeology. I took part in several excavations and learned a great deal about history, how people used to live, and what they used in daily life.
Unfortunately, I had to stop my studies due to personal circumstances. It had become too much for me, and in the years that followed I had to rediscover myself. During that period, I went out more often with the metal detector and started reading a lot of books. I often searched near my grandparents’ home, where several castles once stood.
Over coffee at my grandparents’ house, the finds would be laid out on the table and we would talk about the past.
PRESENT DAY
Fast-forward to the present. Since 2019, I have taken the step to start working for myself, combining several interests within archaeology.
